Hello all- new to the forum, have read the posts for some time now though. I just wanted to say I got my new I2 shaft today and i am quite pleased. The very short ferule is a little odd but I really like the way it feels. One thing I did notice is that the moori (m) feels harder than the one (same- moori medium) on my original shaft, which is approx a year old. I would have thought the tip would get harder the older it got. Anyway, as I said, I am pleased so far and I will update this after I've had a while to shoot with it. Any longer term observations from those of you that have this shaft would be appreciated. thanks, cory

What feels hard about it? Actually touching it with your fingertip, or the feedback feel from the cue? The shorter ferrule could be affecting the feel in that case...
Anyways, glad you are liking your purchase! 8)

Actually touching it. Could it be from constanly working over the old tip that it softened over time? i found that it did not not hold its shape well and it also smoothed out on top often, which is not suppose to be typical of these tips. maybe I go a bad one? It does bear saying that I do like the "harder" feel. I had actually been switching back and forth between my mcdermott and BK2 determining which way to go on a new shaft. My BK2 has a moori hard on it and I like the feel of it. I obviously decided on the I2 shaft because I like the mcdermott feel. I've had a predator in the past and did like it but I thought I'd give the I2 a try. I've had a chance to paly with a Schuler for a couple hours last week and really liked that.
