i was just checking out samsara's site as i am looking for a custom cue to buy as a playing cue. i really like their designs and was just wondering about the radial pin vs the uni loc. i assume the radial provides a better hit but not sure. its screwed directly into the wood of the shaft, right? the one i like most has pigskin wrap, does anyone have a cue wrapped with that stuff, how is it? and lastly, do any of you know if these are more forward balanced or rear balanced? i want to get something that is right around 18 1/2 ounces give or take an 1/8 that balances at 19" from the butt with a z2 shaft. and do these cues use a weight bolt system? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys. thinking about ordering it monday.

Have you tried emailing Samsara? Some custom cue makers will make a cue to your specs.

Samsara makes a great cue, workmanship is real good. I would recommend the Radial pin over the uni-lock just because of the stories of the uni-lock pin locking up and can't get your cue apart. The balance is good. I have hit with a few and they all have the same hit, it's a soft hit. You can change that with a different shaft taper and harder tip. I'm going to add one to my collection one of these days.
