i have a stupid question. i want to get a cue made by a cue maker that does mostly mass produced cues. however, he does do a handfull of customs every year. i have been using a predator p2 and have just bought a production cue from this cue maker and like it much better. i put my z shaft on it, it is the exact same weight as my predator, but is balanced much more forward which i am really liking. the only problem is all of his cues, even the higher end ones have rounded points. if i have a custom made, i definately want them to be razor sharp. so my question is would that be wrong for me to ask him to do?
ps...i would rather not name him on here on a public board.
call him and ask him if it's possible.....

Not all custom cue have spliced points, not all production cues have rounded points and vice versa. It's best to communicate exactly what you want to the cuemaker to ensure you get what you desire. Don't worry about hurting the cuemaker's feelings, he won't worry about hurting yours when the completion date goes flying by.

925 which I thought was reasonable for the amount of work in it.
Windows in butt, leather wrap, ivory and silver inlays, spliced points.
Plays as well as my 1000+ schons and is a one of a kind
Give them a call 704 489 8360 ask for Trevor
If there was a TS stamped on the buttcap cue would go for 2.5k+

No
If Scruggs made a cue similar to this it would cost that much
Sorry for the confusion
