Has anyone heard of/used one of these? How does it compare to the Predator 314/Z line or the McDermott I shafts?
EDIT: Here's the link: http://www.obcues.com/playbetter.html
I have one of those (actualy two....) it plays great, I like to switch between it and the 314 depends on the table and my stroke....

Thanks for the quick reply Skor.
I switch shafts too; only, I switch between my 314 and my stock McDermott. I use my old McDermott on slower tables.
Under what conditions do you use the OB-1?
BTW, I saw your Talisman on the case threads. NICE!

switching the shaft is more up to my mood rather the playing condition.... but usually I will end up with the OB on a slower table...

Just curious, does the 314 perform less on a slower table?
Thanks. :)
Not really but I have a harder tip on the OB-1 that gives me extra speed on the slow cloth.....

some say that the ob-1 has a better feel than a predator. better in the sense that it feels more solid, while predator feels hollow. is it true?
To me the Predator doesn't feel hollow.... maybe because I'm so used to it. the OB-1 does feel a bit different but I would say that it's because it's a bit more flexible.

so for someone new to this "low-deflection shafts" which would you suggest has the easier learning curve?
I think that a learning curve is up to the student and not up to the shaft.
If I would have to let go of one of those shafts and only keep one then I'll keep the Predator....
havent heard anu problems regarding ob-1 shafts.. are there any? im planning to get one
