Mezz Break Cue + New Shaft

Hi guys,
Just recently received my Mezz PB and was surprised to find the new shaft on it. Wondering if anyone else has tried it with the new Deep Impact Shaft and what appears to be a different ferrule. If anyone also has any insight on the differences between old and new shaft, I'm curious to know what they think. I'm not much of a power breaker but I think I almost killed someone with this thing.

I couldn't find much details on the new shat.... the only place I did was in japanese web sites......

I tryed to see if I could buy just the shaft but the store I was dealing with said they don't sell just the shaft.....

I wonder if it's lighter the old shaft, could you weigh it and let me know it's weight?

I won't be able to get you a weight anytime soon. Give me a couple days to find a scale for it. As far as breaking with it, it seems pretty stiff and impact is very firm. But the energy I get from breaking with it is phenomenal. At first, I had a problem with even keeping it on the table. I'm guessing that's because it is fairly easy to jump a cue ball with this thing. But I did correct it by aiming a smidge to the left. I'm getting great spreads, however. The only thing I have to compare it to right now is the FURY J/b. I feel that I get more energy from the mezz as opposed to my friends fury. The only thing I dont like is the semi-whippy shaft and thin tip the fury has. That's all I have for the Mezz. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a weight for you, Skor. In the meantime, if anyone else has any insight, I would like to hear.
