Well I have all three of the I-shafts and I have been shooting with them since April. After shooting with them, here is what I think.

They all have less deflection than a regular McDermott shaft. They hit a lot like the regular McDermott shafts. The short ferrule is fine, although you tend to get your cue dirtier a lot quicker.

I don't like the moori tips, but that is because I like the sniper tips. Anyone that likes moori will probably not care about changing the tip.

I like the I-3 the best, but it's because I like the taper, and the small tip size. The I-2 would probably be the choice of most people upgrading from a regular McDermott shaft.

Anyway, they all play great and if you want something different than predator it is a good choice. If you look at the specs they don't reduce deflection as much as the predators, but they are in the top ten as far as the least amount of deflection.

So again it is whatever you prefer to use, but I think it's a good product, and I like it.
