Does anyone know yet, what is different with those 2 shafts versus the
original versions :?: :?: :?:

As I understand it, the ferrule is harder, stronger, an lighter.
The bored hole is either wider, deeper or both.
The combination of the above things has further reduced the weight of the shaft without any compromise in intergrety of the shaft.
The 314 is reported to deflect 5% less than the original. I have not been able to get a performance report on the Z.
With the info that I have been able to obtain, and with Predators history of excellence and performance I've already put my order in for the Z2
Hope this helps.

Glad I could help. I've been chomping at the bit ever since I heard about the new shafts. I've been using Predator products for 5 years, they haven't let me down yet. I've converted a few friends on league with me and they've had nothing but success. My Co-Captain was shooting well and he went up to an APA 6 so to celebrate he decided to get a quality cue, I let him shoot with my Z shafted Lucasi that I retired when I got my Predator SE-3, I didn't tell him to do anything special and he started pocketing balls from all angles, shots he had just been missing with his old cue. So now he's the proud owner of a 4k1, w/ a Z shaft. Been kicking everybodies butts for 2 months now.
Good luck.

Well, I just toyed with a virtual order, and what do you know...both 314 "2" and Z "2" were listed as 27 inches standard length. As you know most shafts including original 314 and Z are 29 inches long. I wonder if this is a print error or for real? Wouldn't 2 inches or 5cm difference be a little too noticeable? Now they got me worried...
Sorry, my fault. I made the mistake when posting them. It is fixed now. they are standard 29" and we also have the 30" extra lenght shafts available. Sorry for the confusion

Greg finally got in touch with the cia and he's covertly manipulating the situation in order to get us blaming each other. It's a field ops, trade craft, training excercise to see if he is capable of making the trip over to Isreal to play SKOR. And yes, Dags is in on it.
If I told you how I came about this info I would have to, well........
You should stop using that stuff....... or at least share it with us...... 8O
I was surprised I would make a mistake like that. At least now I know why it happened... thanks for the explaination
