You got a 3 x 6 Case, and have the ability to fill it with you Dream Cues, (but they must be played with daily, or as often as you play) what would you want for a Playing Cue, BackUp Playing Cue (possibly lighter, or heavier) , Jump Cue, and Break Cue.....:NO SAFE QUEEN Cues......

I'm quite happy with what I have now....
it's a 3x5 case
playing cues:
1. Bill McDaniel
2. Schon

Break cue:
Mezz Power break

jump cue:
Mezz Air shooter

Shafts:
1. Predator 314 (Main shaft)
2. OB-1 (backup)
3. Schon (not in use)
4. Mezz PB shaft (Break cue)
5. Mezz Air Shooter shaft

sometimes I replace the Mezz Power Break with a Kaiser jump/break cue
and sometimes I replace one of the playing cues with a Dufferin snooker cue (when I play in a snooker tournament...)

Great topic idea, but I am with skor, almost... I am happy with what I have now.... Almost....

I will have the following butts:

Nitti (The one I own now)
Viking Sneaky Pete (Ditto)
Viking converted break cue (Own now but needs new shaft)

For shafts:
2 Nitti's
Shaft for Viking Sneaky
Shaft for Viking Break
Shaft for jump cue, which I hope the butt will fit in a pocket of the 3x5

The end....

however, there is one maker I want a cue from, Black Boar. Specifically, something like that of the pics New Kid posted a long time ago.

I would keep my McDermott Jump/Break cue.

I would keep my shooting cue as a back up. McDermott Mano

Then I would have a custom cue by Willie cues for my shooting cue, and it would be modeled after the Bridgeport C by McDermott

I like learning on this discussion board who makes really great cues and why. But I really like this topic because there are so many great cue makers out there, I get to find out what experienced players actually like to shoot with.

That being said, I like my current set-up:
Shooting cue: Pechauer - just got it bout a week ago, REALLY LOVE IT and THE WAY IT PLAYS!!!
Break: McDermott jump/break - I'm really comfortable shooting w/ this cue as a back up as well. But with the help of this board, I'm curious about trying a firmer, harder hitting cue as a break cue and trying a dedicated jumper, (still don't know how to jump.)

I've already learned a lot from the members of this board. Thanks.

I went back and forth between the OB-1 and the 314 and then I found out that the OB-1 was a bit warped..... now I know that it's wood and it could happend, especially with the long distance it had to go in order to get over here..... anyway the guy that makes them sent me a new one.... he is a great guy with a great product and a good service!

And I take it the new one shows no sign's of premature warping?
