I recently purchased a McDermott Bridgeport C cue from Seybert's Billiard Supply and wanted to let everyone know how it went.
In short, Seybert's (Rick in particular) was great! I ordered the cue with an additional Predator 314 shaft and matching collar. In addition, I had the original McDermott shaft turned down to 12.5 mm.
When the cue arrived I was dismayed at the quality/look of the cocobolo wood in the butt. I then called Seybert's and Rick was very quick to arrange a return and a reorder of a new cue. I returned the case, cue and two shafts at Rick's direction to insure that the all of the components would fit properly with the replacement cue.
After all that I am now the satisfied owner of a McDermott Bridgeport C cue with matching Predator 314 shaft and turned down McDermott shaft.
All in all, it was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to order from Seybert's again.
