In 2001 my brother bought me the Le8c as a birthday present. It is the 94th out of 100 in the light stain. I absolutely love the cue and take very good care of it. I have every intention of holding onto it for life and hope to keep it in mint condition as long as possible.
I am new to this forum and found this site on accident while trying to find some sort of info on my particular cue. I don't understand why since 2001 I have not been able to find even a single picture of one like mine or any information indicating the cue was even produced. I know there were only 100 made like mine and 100 made with the dark brown stain but 5 years has passed and it's as if the cue is a ghost cue. It seems that every predator site I have found only has information on the current years limited edition cues with no links to old lines the sold.
I believe in 2001 the cue was retailing for somewheres between $1000-$1300 but I never asked my brother what he paid for it. I was wondering if it makes sense that so long as I keep mine in mint condition that as the years pass it's value will increase. Is it possible that in mint condition it's held it's value for 5 years or maybe even gone up? I would really appreciate anyones feedback on this and hope someone can point me in the right direction to find some info about it online. Thanks in advance and may all the rolls go your way.
