I believe that there is limited adjustability though... its best to specify the weight you want when you order I guess, cause I think the Schon weight bolt is threaded in with glue.

I have a schon stl7and looked up and down on how to change the weight out and found nothing helpful....mine came 18.3 oz just too light for me and there was no way i was sending it to schon i dont care if it did void the warenty....with that said, I just took an allen wrench and unscrewed the little bolt in the butt. then pull that bolt out with a pair of pliars and the rubber butt just wiggles out. inside i found a machined alluminun bolt, for which you need a big narrow flathead screwdriver(i took one and ground it so it would work). mine came out with medium force it was very easy, but i dont know if yours will be.. i then made a weght bolt out of a 3/8 x 5 inch carrage bolt i just widdled away on it with a bench grinder and files to get it to spec, then drilled and tapped a new hole in the top for the bumper. ( i thing you can buy them already made also, your choice) i tried it out and weighed it again at the post office it went from a 18.3 to a 19.7 it was too heavy so i took .25 oz off and it was perfect!!!! i had no problems...the only problem i could foresee is stripping the alluminun with your flathead screwdriver....good luck, email me with with questions if you would like, just no stupid ones please.
