how to use Slip Stic

Just how are you to use SlipStic?? I've read the manufacture says apply and bufff off within 5 min.. read other replies and they said leave it on for 5 hours before buffing off??? Whats the best way??? Also just switched to a Moori HArd tip from a LePro (that I hate) used Stratos extra hard and was quite happy will the Moori be as good or better.. Holding shape is important point for me!!!!! Thanks

I don't think there is any need to leave it on for 5 hours. I wipe it on, wait about 30 seconds, then wipe it off with high speed motion. Works fine that way, although I rarely use it these days. Mostly I just keep the shaft clean, and burnish with the yellow Q-Smooth papers.

This was a post by the guy who makes the stuff on another site:

"The best way to apply the conditioner is by putting a few drops on your cue shaft and working it in with your fingers. The shaft will appear to have a wet look. Do not use a towel at this time because you will be removing what you just put on. Wait 15 min. (ideal wait is 2 hrs+) and then very lightly buff by barely holding the towel, not tight. (2 quick buffs-up then down) This application will now last for 4 to 6 weeks with lots of playing pleasure. "
