i'm better than your average player but i'm looking to get better and i want to buy some videos but their are so many out there that i'm not sure which one or ones to buy. i already own robert byrnes advance techniques book and video but i'm looking for more. i was wondering about the PRO SERIES BOOK AND VIDEOS. are these any good and do i need to have the book also? i know they say you need the book and videos together but i'd rather just buy the videos. any suggestions would be apreciated, thanks.

I have the book and it's fantastic. If you still do not have recovery shots in your arsenal, better pick this up.

Debating on which to get? I would suggest that you get whatever that you feel you learn the best from. Some people can learn from watching actions, some can learn from reading about it. If you are the type of person that watches someone make a shot and you can copy it, then you prolly would be best off purchasing the videos. If you can learn how to make a shot from reading, then purchase the books. However some of the videos that I have watched gave me alot of info and I was able to learn alot from those videos (They were Robert Brynes Vol 1 and 2...I was just starting out in pool few years ago)

BUT some rare people can learn best from both or either one...so I would suggest that you get whatever you feel that you would learn the best from, watching videos or reading books. (Sure takes ya back to good old high school days? Book report...read a book or watch the video? Romeo & Juliet )

Hope that helps with your decision(s),
