a couple of years ago my schon was broken right below the joint. well i sent it off to schon and got it fixed, it's looks better now than when it was broke and i haven't found anyone to be able to tell me where it was broke but my question is, is the value of it less b/c it was broken and fixed? a guy at schon told me that it shouldn't and i could probably get more for it because now it's a one of kind. is this the opinion of most? it retailed for 1300 in 98.

The only good thing about a Schon is it's balance. Most would say that it's a great production cue but they don't know how low quality it really is. My local cuemaker showed me x-rays of them and I saw gaps a mile wide between the forearm and handle. I would never spend that much on a high end piece of modified firewood. If I had the money you spent on it, I'd buy a custom cue like a Lambros.
