This is an old post, these were taken before I had that cue. After Valley Forge Expo, I'll update my photos, lots of new goodies.

I'm picking up my Franklin, a 1 of a king scruggs that I sent to Tim for a refinish, a R. Harris BlueGrass and an ebony & ivory Peachauer and I'll put in an order for a Josey F-07 Blade 2 design while I'm there.

Samsara is a great cue, I would go with a Nitti tho. Chris makes a hell of a cue. He uses some of the best wood I have seen. Like you said, look around, there will be a lot of cue makers there. A. Gilbert makes a fine cue also. Have you looked at the list of cue makers that will be there. Go to the billiard expo website and click on exhibitors and look at the list.

And I'll tell ya, the Diveney Ebony Butterfly, feels the best, a nice crisp hit
It has 2 old growth shafts with Morri Quicks with the G-10 3/8 pin, awesome cue. Pat is building a 3 sectioned ebony wrapless cue with Ivory mitered points and razor blades in the butt with gold and abalone inlays. I'll have that cue in August. There's more to the cue but ya got the basic's.

Pechauer?
jsggems
03-08-2007, 10:07 PM
Thats not a Richard Chudy is it?
No it's not. Let's see if somebody can guess.
Clue: The cue is #7 out of 10 made, and it came out about 4 or so year's ago. The matching JP's were custom made for this cue, they did not come with the cue.

I knew the points and joint looked familiar, but for some reason the ebony/ivory thing made RC pop into my head... However I snapped back and remembered what Pechauer points looked like...
And I must agree, that cue is beautiful.. If you have ever seen pics of my cue, you would know I'd absolutely love to have that Pechauer...
You really have a wonderful collection there...

From jsggems' collection I like the Bender, the Capone, the Cognoscenti and the Prewitt most... But as I see I could put in order all of them as all of them look beautiful!
I love audio's nitti too - amazing inlays!
BTW, I'm glad that all of you has assisted to renew this topic - I love to see these (for me) unreachable cues in almost reality as the pics given by (for example indyq) are quite far from them.. I'm glad that you own such beautiful cues..

Thanks! I got lucky in the fact I shoot pool with Chris, so I also got it for a great price, and I was able to watch it being built as I would stop by the house every so often. I want another one, but right now I have to many other ventures going on sucking money from my pockets!

I bought a lot of my cues from Roy at INDYQ.
I was thinking about that one but my tight 600$ budget didn't let me go far when considering custom cues.. I've also seen http://www.jjcue.com/index.html this site, but I was not sure about how things go here, eventhough that 40% off sounds great :o)
My budget could have been enough for a DP (but I've read pretty bad things about them :-S) or a Samsara Barcue.. Those are great but I think my 5k2 was a good choice..
Next time maybe I'll go for a cheap Nitti or a Mordt - I love his cues - or a DZ... But that's a question of the far future though :( I spend the half of the time at school with drawing names into my notebooks like Bender, Cognoscenti, BCM, Capone, etcetc...

i looked throught the list but im leaving it open until i get there. i want to check all of them out up close. i doubt that i will be using it for playing as the capone i will be getting is being made to my exact specs. thats the one i will use for while. so im basicly buying on looks, just want to add to the collection and get 1 step closer to catching up with you. you have some really nice peices there.

Thanks for the compliment. It takes time and A LOT OF MONEY to get a nice collection together of high end cues.

Just how much I love that Bender: this is my desktop background since the last few months:
It might seem to be simple but damn, it was quite a long time to finish it - I'm not a pr0 in picture editing though.. ;o)
