Cracked shaft & butt

I broke a rack the other night and cracked the shaft and butt. I took my cue into a local billiards supply shop to see what they thought. I was told that no one in the store has seen the damage that happened to this cue. Does Cuetec offer any type of warranty on their cues.

Along the length of the shaft and butt are deep cracks. The fiberglass coating is cracked in 12" lengths in different spots. The cracks are deep enough to see the wood below. All of this damage after one good break.
I've had this cue for 5 years, it's not my first Cuetec cue that I've purchased.

I'm wondering if you've stored the cue in extreme enough temperature and humidity conditions which would cause the wood and fiberglass coating to separate. The differing physical makeup of wood and fiberglass could easily cause them to shrink and expand at very different rates and break the adhesive bond over time. Maybe the wood dried out and shrunk over time and when you finally hit a really hard shot, the fiberglass was taking all the force and split.
