Are these reproduced Balabushka cues a good deal? Do they shoot well?

They look nice but I have heard some bad things about them. They are pretty expensive for a production cue. I think Greg (audiopro) has some experiece with one. Another good cue in that range is a Schon.

You have a great memory Spartan...
Yeah I had one about 4 or 5 years ago. I think it was a GB4, but I don't remember for sure... Anyways, to be honest it was one of the best balanced cues I had ever shot with. Build quality was pretty decent, I had no problems with chipping, wrap, etc. Overall I think it was a great cue. As for the cost, well yeah... They are probably a bit more expensive than they should be, but IMO it was worth it.
