My old post about it is too old, some of the cues in it were sold, so here is an up date 8)

1. Main Playing cue - Bill McDaniel Q88, came with 2 shafts and I have a 314 and an ob-1 shafts for it as well.

2. My old playing cue - Predator 98-1 with a 314 shaft, it's now a backup cue, but I'm trying to sell it localy (no on-line sell!!!) and when I do sell it then I'll get a new backup cue (thinking about a lower end schon or mezz)

3. My Break cue - Mezz Power Break, one of th best break cues I've used!!

4. My jump cue - Mezz Air Shooter - the best jump cue !!!

5. My Kaiser Jump/Break cue - In my opinion it's the best combo cue

6. My Snooker cue - I hardly playing snooker, but there is an amateurs tourny coming up that I think I'll join so I guess I need to start playing more....

7. My case - Talisman 3x5 leather case

9. A Memorabilia Cue from the World Pool Championship 2003, this cue was signed by: Alex Pagulayan, Hui-Kai Hsia, Ching-Shun Yang, Steve Davis, Mika Immonen, Ralf Souquet, Thorsten Hohmann, Nick van den Berg, Tony Drago, Francisco Bustamante, Efren Reyes, Ramil Gallego, Marcus Chamat, Johnny Archer, Rodney Morris, Earl Strickland, Charlie Williams, Danny Harriman, Nick Varner, Corey Deuel, Sandor Tot and Mark Williams

10. I got 2 more cues that I don't have their pictures but they were just free cues I got from the pool hall I play at, one is a Dufferin sneaky pete and the other is a Dufferin bocote cue with black w/white specs Irish linen.
I also have an old cheap McDermott cue, that I got as a birthday present and it was my first cue, today I do experiments on it....

11. The next two cues are NOT mine, they belong to a friend of mine, but I like them sooooo much that I could not resist to post them, the first is a Samsara cue and the second is a Longoni cue.

Enjoy 8)

That Samsara is sweet. But then again, so is the Mcdaniel, and the Longoni, and the signatures on the other cue are really cool. 8)

I really like the Samsara as well, all the white is Ivory, there are over 150 ivory inlays in that cue, the grip is Bufalo leather, it's the best leather grip I've ever touched in my life, it's softer then the boar's hide.
The Longoni has great art work but it's not my cup of tea, the grip feels weird to me and I'm not into the butterfly points.

those cues are AWESOME Skor! If you don't mind me asking how much is the Longoni worth? I saw a cue in a show once that looked similar had some more designs but it was worth 25K.

That Longoni cue belongs to a freind of mine that used to be a representative player for longoni cues when he was playing on the pro tour in the late 90's (camel pro tour and other events), this cue, althogh you can buy one that will look just like it was specially made for my friend by Longoni, besides weight and balance, it also features more expensive materials then the cue that looks like this one, this is 'one of a kind'

Really nice cues! Leave it to me to skip all the beautiful wood work and go to the shaft. ("re-emotional content....it is like a finger pointing to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you'll miss all the heavenly glory." Bruce Lee-Enter the Dragon.) Hows that OB-1 working for you? Do you still like it?

I sold my old Predator 98-1 cue today for $350, not bad for an 8 years old cue (that cost me $420 back in 1998).
It was a bit hard for me to give it a way after all these years I've played with it.
So I guess I might be looking for a new backup cue, I'm thinking lower end Schon or Mezz.....

Try the Mezz Skor. Ive shot with Dennis Orcullo's Mezz (Hybrid shaft) and IMO it gives more feel in the hit as compared to a Schon.

Also, you might want to have a custom made by viattorre. :D my Viattorre custom jump cue will be completed this week

Thanks, I've seen some pics of very nice viattorre cues BUT I'm not looking for an expensive custom cue, I just want a good cue as a backup for situations I wouldn't want to use my McDaniel cue like if the pool hall is too crowded.
I like Mezz, I got their Power Break cue and Air-Shooter jump cue but I don't have any schons so I'm leaning towards the schon but what will determine between the two is weight and cost of the cue, we'll see, I still have to think about it and still want to sell another brand new, never been used Dufferin (see picture) before I'll do any shoping......

This cue will not be sold on-line!!! only localy

Skor, if you can find an entry Joss they are a good buy for a backup especially since you have a 314 and an OB1 shaft with the same joint. Just a thought. BTW really nice cues.

If I could find a 10 years old Joss in a brand new, never been played condition then I would get it (if the price is right), I just don't like the new Joss models that much, maybe I'll get the color of money replica sometime in the far future....

Sskor, did you buy an OB1? how does it hit? deflection? and how much does it weigh? :D

My OB-1 shaft weights axactly like my 314 shaft - 103gr (3.633oz)
It plays great and has a lot of action to it.
I didn't give it enough time yet to get used to it and I did go back to the 314 for now.
The OB-1 shaft warped a bit BUT it does not affect the playability since when rolling the shaft, the tip does not leave the table, but I think that knowing it's there affects my game.
I understand that these things can happen, I know it's wood and I have no complaints about it
I also saw warped Predator shafts so it could happen to any shaft!!!!
I've talked to the guy that makes them and he told me that that's the first time he heard of his shaft warping, he also sent me a new one, he said that they are trying to live up to the "McDermott warenty" as well.

Yo, skor....

Weird, the things you find when you're not looking. I have what I thought was a no-dot Meucci M1/sneaky pete; however, it's identical to your Kaiser 3-pc jump/break except it has a wood/wood shaft joint with steel screw.

Nice collection and thanks for making it available.

Very nice and thanks again. In fact, this whole place is nice and don't know how I've previously missed it.

Nice pics

I've never heard that Meucci was making a jump/break cue..... and this one does not look anything like the Meucci M1...
it looks like J&J jump/break which is made by the same people in the same company as the kaiser cues in Taiwan.... still a good cue for it's price....
I'm acutally selling my Kaiser..... a girl I know asked me (today...) to sell it to her... she needs it more then I do so I agreed 8) I still have my Mezz set (power break + air-shooter) and I can always get a new J/B cue.... been thinking about the Stinger - sneaky pete model.... we'll see 8)

I want to apologize for coat-tailing your collection thread....trying to figure out how to delete my picture postings and perhaps move them to a more appropriate place. I'm going to cross-post in "showcase" and hope someone will delete the bads.

Really nice machines, skor....thanks for sharing.
