I might go.
That is the weekend of my birthday, I mean the anniversary of my 29th birthday. That would be a neat present to myself.

Very nice present and cute reply! Last time I was there I took my nine ball and had the top ten girls sign it. I can't believe how approachable they all are.

This is the nineball I had signed last year at the tournament.
It has the following signatures on it.
1-Allison Fisher.......6-Helena Thornfeldt
2-Karen Corr .........7-Gerda Hofstatter
3-Jeanette Lee........8-GaYoung Kim
4-Julie Kelly............9-Vivian Villarreal
5-Monica Webb.......10-Melissa Herndon
I wonder what I could get for this on ebay?????

Did you get to see any of the matches with GaYoung Kim playing? I have watched her on TV a few times recently and she's very entertaining! She almost has a "gunslinger" approach with taking risky shots. Not to say that it's smart but it sure is fun to watch! She seems much more likely to pull out the jump cue or try some wicked banks/kicks than the other pros.

Yeah, I saw her but I didn't get to see to much. She was on a far corner table. Vivian Villarreal is fun to watch too. She is really talkative and makes funny comments while shes playing. Great attitude.
I was flipping through the channels last night and caught some of the Mosconi Cup and saw Shawn Putnam in that zone. Its awesome to see people like that instinctively gun down the rack.

So who went?
I wasn't able to go. I was unexpectly, expected to go into work and cover all the hours of someone who quit. Nice huh?
I hear my gal Sarah Rousey did a great job against Ga-Young.
I also read that my other gal Alice Rim nearly made the TV round.
Way to go girls.

I was there. I was looking for a girl with a Bud Lite in her hand celebrating a birthday (9BallGirl) but I didn't see any. Oh by the way happy B-day.
It was great. There is not a bad seat in the house. This new girl (not even listed) almost made it to the TV round. Her name is Xiaoting Pan. She beat Allison Fisher in the first round and lost to Jeanette Lee in the quarter finals, which was her only loss. Keep an eye on her you'll probably be seeing her a lot.
It was hard to totally concentrate on the Lee/Pan match because Jennifer Barretta was sitting next to me watching the match. My cousin who was on the other side of me kept trying to get me to get the next round of beer but I was not moving! I think this is the first time that I passed on a round.
Kim White made it to the Semi-Finals and Vivian Villarreal made it to the Finals. It definately had a different ending with the exception of Allison ending up on top again.
It was definately a great time. I took my nineball rack in to get signed. I got the top ten signatures on it. To make a great night even better I won $120.00 at the Blackjack table.
