I don't have one yet, but am itching for one. I'm going to buy myself one for Christmast this year. I'll let you know then. Seybert's has the best price on the 3000, and there are some on ebay pretty regular for a good price. :)

I got one in yesterday. Overall, I am pleased with it and would say it is worth the money. Just make sure you follow the directions and "break the cloth in". If you shoot a lot of pool on your home table, I wouldn't hesitate. 8)

I wasn't impressed. It just pushes down on each ball individually with a spring loaded "plunger". I really don't think it's worth the money. My two cents.

All,

I have had a Sardo since Feb. and I don't really use it. I play almost every day at some point and its to cumbersome to use. I find myself grabbing for the triangle every time. I really want to use cause of $ I dropped for it. Honestly unless you just have to have one don't waste your money. The Sardo does not really do much. Once you condition your table you can rack just as well with your hands (Sardo owners try this). You have conditioned dents into the felt which the rack pushes the balls into and that’s it. I don't want to sound negative but I do feel a bit ripped off, maybe if it were $35-50 bucks but $150. What can I say I wanted it, I bought it, I will live with it. The views and opinions expressed in the post do not reflect the views or opinions of Seyberts or any parent companies. :D

The sourdough rack is a waste of money. It messes up the slate.

It also makes the mystery of a break go away, it is the same thing every time and that isn't really a good thing.

Why would you not want a consistent "frozen" rack for every break shot?

i still don't get the point of it.
not many pool halls have it.so why use it to practice with.
i don't think it is worth the money.

I have one, it works fine but I think the price is a rip off.

What I'm hearing at AZBilliards.com is that they're not worth it. To get consistent results the cloth must be "dented" for consistent results. And one-pocketers consider them as craters. Just purchase the tried-and-true stuff.

Porper makes a similar rack for less money. Anyone try it?

I had a Sardo and sold it on ebay for $85. It workes well, but I didn'tlike the bulkiness. I now have a rool-a-rack...it works great.
