I know that I wrote quite a few times about how it's much better to use different cues for breaking and jumping BUT lately I've been using this cue

It's a jump/break cue with a phenolic tip/ferrule, the point are really spiced into the forearm.

Now I've tried the Sledgehammer I & II and the Fury Jump/Break cue and didn't like any of them, but this cue is much better then all of the above, it breaks better and jump better the other cues with the phenolic tip/ferrule combo.

I believe that the difference is in the joint, this cue has a wooden joint just like the Mezz Air shooter has (and some carom cues)

The feel is very solid and the cue vibrates much less then the other cues.

BTW it also costs a lot less then the above cues.....

What kind of cue is this and where can we find it?

My current break/jump cue looks exactly like that (same joint and all), except the color of the points is alittle lighter.

I think the cue you're using is a Taiwan ANDY j/b imitation. I believe such a joint was first used by Andy, and his j/b cues are currently used by pros like Efren Reyes.

Imitation cues like those should go for just under $100 US.. the original ANDY would cost approximately $150 US.. I doubt you'll be able to find them easily though.

This cue is made in Taiwan and is sold in the USA under the name Kaizer

Skor, thanks for info.
This cue seems to be a good birthday gift to my friend. I wish Seyberts had them.
What about quality of fit/finish?

The quality and finish are quite good for a $100 cue
I got a 19.5oz cue and it had a 5inch long weight bolt that weights about 2oz and when I took it out the cue felt better, I like a light break cue and I hate heavy butt so after removing the bolt the balance point moved toward the joint to a point I really like.

As Seyberts don't carry these cues, I'd like to know where you've got it from.
TIA!

There's one on ebay. 5 days left but as of now it's only $20.49.

Maybe Seybert's will start to carry these. If so, I will order one. I have seen them for sale for $90 U.S. .
