I own a McDaniel cue, I was actually looking for a Schon and ended up with a McDaniel...
I really like it, I think that the craftsmanship is higher then the schon cues (sharper points for example...)
When It comes to feel and playability, it's hard for me to tell you because it's been years since I held a Schon in my hands But I can tell you that the McDaniel cue plays great and feels great.

They are great looking/hitting cues, when Morro first started being sponsored by him I was able to hit with about 6 of his cues. They have a unique and very tasteful design in my eyes, the quality is there and they hold their value well too.

I had the oppotunity to play with one for a little while. It played well. It was the ebony and ivory Kun Fan Lee model with piloted ivory joint. Played real well. If you like them go for it. If it means anything to you Karen Corr, Julie Kelly, Nick Varner, and Morro (Ismael Paez) all play with his cues.

Didn't hear that about Bill going out of business, that would be a shame since he's a great cue maker.
Does that means that the value of my cue just went up :?: :?:
J/K I rather see the value of my cue going down and that Bill will stay in business.

Regarding the joint;
Both my old Predator and my McDaniel has the same joint, yet the hit and feel are different :!:
I use to think the same but I guess that there is more to the butt then I thought.
