Man Griff, this Predator BK of yours should get some medal or Purple Heart or something like that. Knocked over, dings in shaft, stolen and now tip flew off.LOL  I have never heard anyone else have this problem with a BK before..

good luck..I have been thinking about getting a BK but haven't spent the money yet. My 2K1 breaks good and I like breaking and playing with the same cue. I like to break, make a few balls, and start shooting immediately.
just curious, what's the weight on your break cue?

I guess it is the luck of the draw. I have gotten in touch with Jean Loos at Predator and it is all taken care of. I am sending it out today and should get it back in a week.
There was only about 3/4 of the tip that had glue on it. I have talked to someone else with the exact same problem, 3/4 of the tip was only glued.
There maybe some glitch in the glueing of the tips on. Jean said that they have been having trouble with tips and ferrules on the BK.
Well,...I guess when a human will fix it, it should be just fine.
Griff
when you say having trouble with tips AND ferrule is that just the tip glue not holding on well to the ferrule or ferrule problems as well as in ferrule cracking , splittting or deforming

She really did not elaborate, just kind of mentioned it as we were talking about getting mine fixed.

Neil (from Predtor) usually responds to predator inquiries here I wonder why he has not responded to this . Guess I'll hold back awhile till I get a Predator BK . If its just a tip problem then it isnt much to be concerned with but if its a ferrule problem then (deform, cracking splitting....) then Id get a different brand of break cue.
Neil and the whole Predator gang (and us) were at the BCA show this week in New Orleans. Just got back. I am sure that he will elaborate when they get back.
First I have heard of anything of a problem. We have sold tons of them with no reported problems. And there are a lot of Pro's out there that can break pretty hard with no reported problems.
and by the way, Iron Willie just preforms tests on the cues and shafts. He does not assemble them.

Sid do you have a picture of the new and improved Iron willie ? post it here if you do. What improvements was made on willie ? Has iron willie tested those new Meucci Black dots which Bob claims to have even lower deflection than his red dot ? Surprisingly Neils says the red dot performed even better than the new black dot in this department. Were you able to witness the test.
