One model has a linen wrap while the other has no wrap. Not much of a difference, but it does have a bearing on performance.

Better to break with a cue with no wrap, your hand slips less and you don't need to hold onto the cue as tightly, so you can generate faster arm speeds.

I have almost a dozen cues right now, but what I play with is as follows:

Playing cue= Predator 2 with no wrap, 18.3 ounces

Breaking cue= BK with no wrap, 15.2 ounces

My hands tend to sweat, so I prefer a cue with no wrap, I guess I take the heat badly. :?

Yes, they customized it for me, but it wasn't pretty. Basically they cored out the cue with a pretty big drill bit, any cuemaker can do it.

I think I would have to look for a new job if I played with anything but a Predator cue or shaft.

I am sure in this forum that someone will be able to help you with that question.

I would like to help, but I have never owned or really played with a Meucci, so my opinion would be useless, sorry.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I am sure that our shaft on any cue would be an improvement over a conventional shaft, but you should not just take my advice.

Ask Sid how he feels about our cues and shafts, and what he sees is the trend of people ordering cues with our shafts on them.

His feedback is invaluable.
