Has anyone here ever played with a Mike Bender cue? I really enjoy some of his work and I was thinking of purchasing one in the future, but I have never actually played with one. If anyone can offer any insight to this cuemaker's work it would be greatly appreciated. :D

Years ago I took a few hits with one, never got to play with it for any appreciable amount of time. From first impressions the cues are very solid though and his point work is awesome. I don't think you will be disappointed with the hit, on a side note the butt seemed a little on the thick side, kind of like a Southwest cue.

Yeah if I am not mistaken both Mike Bender and Jerry Frankilin mastered there craft under DPK so there cues do show some similarity....but I just do not know of anyone who has one to compare it to any other  ....

Yeah, it would be hard to find someone with a Bender. I know someone in LA with both a Bender and Southwest but haven't talked to him in years.
My name is Jeff and I own 2 Benders and to me they are the best hitting cue on the custom market. IMO. I also have a capone also a great hitting cue. The balance and feel of a Bender is so nice. here is a website to go to. Check it out, Roy has got like 9 benders for sale.. INDYQ.com Great guy to work with. his prices are good also.
