The best way to take a dent out with out taking down the shaft is by using steam. Boil you some water in a tea kettle and when the steam starts to come out put the dented area over the steam. Do not put the shaft over the steam for that long, you can always go over it again. The wood in that area will lift up and then you will have to smooth out that area with some burnishing papers. Let me know if you have any questions.

I cannot believe it, but the Predator BK I just bought got knocked over by someone and has a couple of dings in it. What is the best way to get them out?

Hey Griffith_D:

Never lean your cue against ANYTHING. If you need to set it someplace, then just lay it on an unused pool table. It won't be knocked over.

on the subject of break cue storage to those cue holders that are offered on this site work well?
