So you were the one that out bid me. I’ve been looking to add a Runde to my collection for a couple years now. As far as cues go his are good investments. Yours is only two years old and already sold for more than original retail and it will only go up in value.

Runde only makes about a dozen cues a year and doesn't make two cues alike. He designates his cues XX-Y where the XX is the year made and the Y is the sequential number. So a cue that was marked 03-7 would be the seventh cue he made in the year 2003. The exception to this is a spliced cue like yours. These are labeled XX-S where the XX is the year the S indicates that the cue is a spliced butt.

Hope this helps you out.

So is this really a Bon Runde? Makes sense that it isnt actually a schon, but still......I guess that explains why I liked the way it looked...it wasnt a Schon!

From what I have gathered you have a Bon Runde custom cue. You do not have a Schon. Your cue was made in 03 and is a fullsplice cue. 03-s is your model number. Dags posted all of this. However, Bob Runde did make Schons at one point in time. But from the looks of it, you got a better cue than a Schon. In my opinion of course.

Anybody interested to buy Runde S Custom Cue?
I only tested for about 10 hits. I really love this baby; unfortunatelly, I have to let her go for an engagement ring. Please email me if anybody interested.

I think Seyberts would like to take care of the selling cues thing here.
