I'm having trouble with my Porper Cut-Rite. When trying to trim a new 14mm Triangle tip, just glued to a 13mm ferrule, I have to use the Porper Mushroom Grazer to trim the tip down to about 13mm to even get it into the Cut-Rite. Once I get the tip into the Cut-Rite, it won't trim the tip down to the ferrule, stopping about 1/16 of an inch above the edge of the ferrule. Am I missing something here? Someone please give me some advice!! Thanks in advance.

Youre going to have to use the mushroom grazer....thats a given. However, when my cut-rite quit cutting it (pun intended) I ordered a new blade and that seem to help solve my problem. How long have you had your cut-rite and how often have you used it?

I started with the Mushroom Grazer and had to trim the 14mm tip nearly all the way down to 13mm just to get it into the Cut-Rite. I just bought the Cut-Rite from Seyberts – it’s brand new and what it cuts, it cuts fine. The hole in the Cut-Rite isn’t deep enough to let me insert the tip any further. So it just won’t trim the entire Triangle tip and leaves about a 1/16 inch “collar” on the tip right at the ferrule. I then had to then use the Mushroom Grazer again to trim off this collar. I got the job done but was expecting the Cut-Rite to be a one-step trimmer. Unlike the Mushroom Grazer, I don’t see any way to adjust the Cut-Rite’s cutting length so that it trims the entire tip.
I don't use any of these gadget, just a good old style utility knife with a good, new blade and the resoult are not bad as you can see for your self in the next link

Very nice job skor. I didn't want to bring it up but my burnishing job pretty much sucked too - not nice and evenly shined like your job. How did you achieve it?
with a paper towel and two fingers (no gadgets for me, remember) 8)
I took a drill to my cut-rite, problem solved.
