PS03 vs. JP08&09?

I am trying to choose between the PS03 and JP08 or JP09 (Pro Series vs JP Series). I am definately not a pro player but have joined a league and want a quality cue. From what I can tell, the basic difference between the pro series and the JP series is the joint. Any suggestions on these choices?

Depends on the hit you want, it is all in personal taste. The other thing about the Pro series cues is that they have the signature in the forearm and all of the white inlays are ivory.
