View Full Version : Let's hear it!!!
Lucasi owners, let's hear what good things you can say about your Lucasi! I personally love its balance and hit. When I first got it, it only took a couple of games of 9-ball before I got the hang of it. Excellent playability! :D

I am shooting with Predator and got a Lucasi to put in my bag for an extra stick and for when my wife goes with me to shoot. I had a friend that had a Lucasi and the points were uneven and you could feel all the ring work in it. When I got mine I was very pleased that you could not feel any of the ring work and it seems to be a well constructed cue. As far as hit, I like it and I did let about 5 different guys shoot with it recently and they all like it as well. At least 2 of them say they will get one soon. I feel they play much better than the price tag that is on them.
Would your friend have gotten his cue as a blemished cue online (cheap) as I did? Mine was purchased as a blemish off of eBay, but it still looks great except for a very small ding that I had to look for. The ring work, points, etc all look great on mine! Maybe his was a blem and he didn't realize ahead of time???
Sorry to hear your budy got a dud.

Actually, the friend got it from a billiard store. It was his first cue and I don't think he took the time to look around and realize what was out there. He knew it looked better than a bar stick. Doesn't effect playability so to each his own. I got mine on Ebay ($350 retail, I paid $135)...I took a chance and was very happy, and relieved when I got it.

I owned a lucasi cue for awhile and it hit ok, I had a dynamite tip from tiger products laying around put it on there and the hit was comparable to a schon cue..(my normal playing cue) I only bought the lucasi as a break cue but, after changing the tips, it played so much better, yes I did play with it..It wast till someone tried to buy my schon that I realized that I hadnt picked it up for nearly a week..needless to say the lucasi is gone...but I would buy another one if my schon gave up on me....
