Isn't this a case related topic rather than a best cue related topic?

LWW

I thought of that but wouldn't you want to keep the best cue in the best case?

Sure, only the question asks about cases and this forum is about cues.

Justis and Whitten are both leather, that means they must be flawed because vinyl is superior to leather according to our resident leather expert. 8O

If, by best case, you mean the best protection for your cue then the answer is a no brainer, Zero Haliburton. If you mean prettiest case then just about anything bests a Zero Haliburton.

I agree, a truck could run over the Zero Halliburton case with your cues in it and they would still be ok.

There are a lot of great cases out there but for me Instroke is the way to go, it looks great and it protect the cues in a great way plus it's cheaper then the Justis and Whitten cases

I'm too cheap to pay what 1 of the premium cases costs anyway unless I can find one cheap used.

If you like nice things (and are willing to pay the premium price) and want a case that will last a lifetime, then leather is the way to go.

Otherwise a vinyl case will do just as well at carrying and protecting your cues. You can replace several worn out vinyl cases for the price of one leather case.

Between my sons and I we have Justis, Whitten, and Talisman cases. Which is the best? It depends on what you are looking for in a case!

Justis: Probably the most durable, very heavy.

Talisman: Similar to Justis, but much better pocket design. Not customizable.

Whitten: Striking looks, very compact and light.

They are not cheap, but they are top-notch. IMO they are reasonably priced.

INSTRoKE PREMIER

Beautiful, durable, and affordable... and still has most of your bells and whistles...

My son's Whitten 4x3 case was delivered a couple of days ago. A great case - excellent workmanship - very light weight for its size - great appearance. Highly recommended!
