Okay, so here is a pic of my table. I have already been given some color suggestions, but thought I would throw up a pic so everyone could see exactly what it looks like now. Anyways, suggestions for cloth color?

I like the standard green cloth color the best.

Replacing the cloth? Now is the time to really prctice those jump & masse shots.

Nice game room.

How about the Simonis in wine or grey; taking in consideration the color of the room and table.

wine

I agree with Cary... We have a table here in the store simular to the one in your picture and we just compared a variety of colors on the table and the wine is VERY sharp.

Not to mention that after using wine chalk on your cue for a month or two, your shaft of your cue will match the cloth.

Green Simonis...Blue Chalk. Life is good.

P.S. Ya know, I was the town champ on the pinball Gougar when I was a kid. I envy that pinball in the background.

Gougar Champ eh!?!? Nice!! 8)

I really like the idea of good ole fashioned green cloth. I just wonder if it will look goofy on a white colored table??

I think the wine would look great, I am just not sure if red chalk would drive me batty...

Why blue chalk instead of green with green clothe?

id go with blue. i like green the best but IMO it wouldnt look right on that table. i like the blue they are using for the euro championships.

Which blue spartan? Dark or electric? I think the electric would be great for playing on, not sure about looks.. I may have to do some photochopping to see.

If you are going for looks, wine. If you think red will make you batty... do a dark green.

The electric blue also looks really sharp. I personally really like the Columbia blue. More country looking, but that is just me. There is a link on our site that shows you the different cloths on different table colors. It’s kinda neat you might wanna check it out.

Where is that link Monique?

Go to our site, Cloth, Titan, Then there is a link that says mix and match on the top of the page. let me know if you can not find it.

04-29-2005, 12:00 PM
If you go here http://www.seyberts.com/table_accessories/cloth/titan/index.htm

ya'll see "Mix & Match" as Monique mentioned.

Ya'll get a popup and you will be able to select colors and even colors of the table.

Pretty handy when it comes to purchasing a table & cloth.

Championship dark green would look good, but Simonis is a better cloth.

Sid

Why blue chalk instead of green with green clothe?

no matter what color cloth you have, you have to use a darker colored chalk than the cloth. If you use a lighter color chalk, it show up big time on the cloth.

All the green chalk is usually lighter or a lighter shade than the green cloth so the green chalk does not work real well on green cloth. Blue, being darker shows up less.

The best colored match with chalk that I have seen, nearly invisible is the titan simonis cloth with tan chalk.

But, audio, I think that would look like crap on your table.

I am almost thinking of re-finishing the table to a darker color...

To my eyeballs any color other than traditional green is sorta like the pink 4-ball. Go with the green Greg!

Greg,

I would stick with the standard green Simonis. Any color goes with white.

I agree with this. I like the looks of this table. Great idea!!!! I like how the black table and black cloth are accented with the natural wood look.

Okay, so I wen to Olhausen's website and built a table that looks exactly like mine. The Electric Blue looks awesome, so that is what I am going to get!!! :)

As soon as I get things unpacked and put away at the new house here, I will be putting in my order! May pick up a few other things as well..

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I would have never thought to consider Electric Blue!

Okay, so now question number two. Since I have decided on an electric blue colour cloth, which cloth should I choose?

I know the difference between 760 and 860. The 760 is typically what ya find on larger tables, and it rolls faster. I have an 8ft table, so the 860 cloth would be the default choice if I am not mistaken.. But, would there be any reason to consider the 760 on an 8ft table?

Also, I've heard that Simonis cloth can be a bit more difficult to install, as opposed to the Champion line? Any thoughts??

DZ314
05-02-2005, 03:24 PM
I would probably stick with 860 on your table, but someone who has more experience might have a different opinion.

spartan
05-02-2005, 03:37 PM
i would get the 760. itll wear down slower over time than the 860. depends how often you want to change your cloth as well.

I like blue like you have now.

If you went lt gray you would have a stealth table.

The dark blue I have right now, is real hard to play on. Seeing the darker coloured balls is a lot more difficult. I'd not think it would have been a big difference, until I owned a table with it.

Any thoughts on the black paint, Greg? I think the electric blue is a fine color choice regardless of whether you paint the frame of the table or not. 8)

Probably not going to refinish the table at this time.. Just to much going on to have the time.. I would rather get it back up and play on it, rather than goofing off with refinishing it..
