View Full Version : The cue collection of Sanj
Sid requested that I post some of my cues ,while we spoke at the Expo.
Well here are some of them.
Can anyone name all the cues.
I have ordered them by cuemaker,so that cues made by one cuemaker are batched together.
Will get the new SE5 and two James White cues next week.
Enjoy
there are 11 different cuemakers here.
sorry cant count there are 10 different cuemakers here.
very very nice collection :D
I think that the 2 cues on the left are Joss and then there 2 schons the fifth I don't know, then there is the P2 and the predator le-10, followed by 3 cues that I don't know I think that the next two are mark bear cues and the rest I realy don't know

the one on the end looks very much like a josswest.
Skor is right.
two Joss cues,then two Schons(fourth cue is a unique).You got the P2 and LEX .The cue between the schons and predators ?
The Mark Bears are the cocobolo sneaky pete and the ebony 4 point with wildwood handle.
The cue at the end is not a josswest.

What is the one all the way on the right?
Thanks Zac,
the last two cues on the right are my favourites.
A very fancy James White cue and a Gus Szamboti.

No wonder I like them then hehe!
The cue on the right is an ebony four point Gus Szamboti with maple windows. Original shafts and original champion tips.

beautiful cues sanj. my friend has a josswest which looks very similar to your szamboti, even has the same ringwork. the szambiti is by far my favorite cue out of your collection. i love its traditional design.
The Szamboti plays very well.I use it a lot .Very nice balance and hits like a cannon.
The original shafts are quite stiff but there is still some flex in them.
It is very easy to move the ball about.
Rodney Morris said Gus made the best cues he ever played with.
I took his advice and bought one.

i talked to rodney and he said he wont play without his szamboti even if that means fury dropping him.
The cues are,
2 Joss cues;
2 Schon cues;
a Custom 56" gulyassy sledgehammer;
2 predators (P2 and LeX);
Dennis Diekmann Masse cue (30 oz);
2 Mark Bear cues (full splice and play amazing);
PFD titleist gold UniLoc pin into Ivory;
6 Paul Mottey cues from a fullsplice rosewood to a butterfly spliced cue:
3 James White cues ( a 5 point .a 6 point and an 8 point);
a Gus Szamboti.
