I have a few cues. One is the Predator 315-5. It is from the first line of cues that Predator had back in 96 or so. It was my first "real" cue. I played with it for a few years. I eventually put it up, got it totally refinished by Predator and was lucky to find a new, unused shaft that Predator originally put on their 314 Line. So, it is in perfect condition, mint and I am scared to play with it so I never use it.

Then, I bought a Predator2 back when they first came out 4 years ago or so. When they first came out, they were numbered, (I have number 10) and the first 25 or so were pure black, no sparkles that they have now. I have a couple of shafts with it. I put it up a couple of years ago. I will get around to have it refinished someday, buy some new shafts with it and then be scared to use it also.

Then I fell in love with the Pechauer cues. They custom made me the coolest cue I have yet owned. I had a Z shaft made for it. Problem is, it was so nice, I never played with it either. You can view this one here.

So, a year or so ago, I had our cuemaker take one of our $13.95 house cues, cut it in half, put in a uniloc, make me a z shaft to fit it.

I play with this cue almost 100% of the time. I take it with me to leauges, bars, tournaments, anywhere that I would usually spend most of my time worrying about my more expensive cues. I toss it around at home, let guest use it and carry it to bars in a nondiscript case.

So, after all that, and others that I did not bother to list here, my "Best Cue" is my $13.95 beat up house cue. I guess peace of mind counts for something...at least in my book.

Wow...this is funny! I think I mentioned wanting to do this quite some time ago and everyone thought I was crazy. I'm glad to see that someone has actually done it.
