Can anyone recommend a good insturctor in NYC? Also, have you used this instructor yourself?

What are costs per hour?

I've been playing for a couple of years now and want to move beyond the basics.

Thx.

Tony is a fantastic teacher.
Very well worth the money in terms of lessons.
Get him to talk through his choices in shot selection when he runs out a rack.enjoy.

Ok on Tony Robles, but any other suggestions for instructors?

Also, what does Tony charge (approx) and do instuctors give a discount for two people taking the same lesson as opposed to doubling the fee?

Thanks again.

Taking lessons in groups is fine at the beginner level, but at an advanced level you'll want a one on one session, because each player progress at different rate, you'll have one that is behind or on that is bored and thinking that he's throwing money away.

As for how much Tony charge, ask him

As for other suggestions, try the American Billiard School at Corner Billiard
