Question for someone at seyberts about tip installation:

I am thinking about getting a schon shaft with an ivory ferrule. My question is this: if I want a moori tip installed from seyberts, will it be done with a pad? I have read that it is pretty important on ivory, because when the tip expands, it could split the ferrule.

Thats all I want to know!

Yes, when I install the Moori tips I will turn the old tip down to the pad. This is for a longer lasting ferrule. thanks
