Implex Joint (#5)

Is it safe to use the implex joint (#5 I believe) on a breaking cue? Or is it better to have a stainless steel joint?

I don't think it's better than the steel joint for breaking, but I have been using a cue with joint 5 to break for a while now and I have had no trouble, but I don't break like a train wreck.

I imagine that the stainless would provide more support and strength, but it is not really a concern. The implex will provide much more strength than what will ever be needed.
