What did you guys think of the game? Did you see any good commercials?

Overall I think the game went pretty well however the commercials i thought sucked big time. I guess because of the Janet Jackson thing.

The best commercial i saw was the one honoring the troops in the airport (gotta love america).

The Egales played a good game, at least until the fourth quarter. I sware it looked like McNabb gave up or something. They showed OWENS trying to jack him up and it looked as if he wanted to be somewhere else. I was very dissapointed in him. He ran the 2 min drill like a rookie. 4 minutes left in the game they seemed very sluggish, and if they were to save even 30 sec over the entire drive they would of had a much better chance on that final drive.

Overall good game but dissapointing as well. What did you guys think?

Are the Patriots as big of a Dynasty as the Packers were?

Only seen a couple of plays of the game but caught a commercial with a cat and spilled spaghetti sauce. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I will probably watch the commercials online today, but I did not watch any of the game yesterday. Watched a movie on HBO instead, then went to bed at about 8.

Football just doesn't interest me.

I did. I watched the whole game at a friend's house.

0 0 in first quarter....7-7 in 2nd quarter....14-14 in 3rd quarter..if I recall it correctly..

Patriots resorted to field goal....but then Eagles got a touchtown..and they were only 3 points down...and they had like 55 seconds to at least tie the game or win by 4 points..and they just decided to be an idiot...pulled a Hail Mary off the 1st down. (I think that was the biggest mistake...cuz everybody expects that....obviously)

then they even ran the damn ball..I was like..What the hell for? Throw it and step out of bounds you idiots. :)

Israel should be rooting for the Patriots

Soon after his New England Patriots play in Super Bowl XXXIX Sunday night in Jacksonville, Florida, team owner Robert Kraft will visit Israel to see the Grand Re-opening of Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem.

Mr. Kraft and his wife Myra will take part in the February 23 ceremony that will mark the completion of a $500,000 project whose focus is installing artificial grass, the top-of-the-line Fieldturf, in Israel's only American football facility.

Five years ago, Mr. Kraft was approached by officials of a local American football league and asked to help develop the sport in Israel. He eagerly agreed, and went with league officials and representatives from The Jerusalem Foundation to see then-Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert. What emerged from that meeting was the building of Kraft Family Stadium, which has become home to a 70-team, 900-player flag-football program in the heart of Israel's capital.

The Patriots' owner and his wife are also deeply invested in Israel's economy, and the future and well-being of the Jewish state. Robert Kraft is the primary shareholder of the $40-million Carmel Container Systems in Caesarea, the largest export packaging plant in the country. The company provides jobs for hundreds of Israeli workers.

Mrs. Kraft visits the country several times each year and is directly involved in assisting numerous Israeli welfare projects relating to women in distress, new immigrants, and quality of life. Myra was here as recently as two weeks ago, when she was part of a mission from the Boston area that could not leave when it was scheduled to due to weather conditions in the New England area. While her husband was in Pittsburgh watching his team beat the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game, Mrs. Kraft sponsored a fully-catered, late-night party at the David's Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem for the mission's participants.

The Krafts are also ardent supporters of Jewish education in the Boston area, and donated the $11m. Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life at Columbia University in New York.

The success of the Patriots and the welfare of the Jewish people and the State of Israel are all great passions of the Kraft family. We know that having Patriot fans in Israel is very much appreciated by them. Many thousands of American immigrants and a surprising number of Israeli sports fans will be up late watching the Super Bowl, rooting for the Patriots. They are Israel's team.

Steve Leibowitz is editor of IBA News and president of American Football in Israel.

I am glad it is over, the traffic reminded me of LA. Nothing like open container laws and people from the south mixed together.

My favorite was the thank you one, that was cool, when i went to denver after christmas there were soldiers at dfw headin out, really moving.... other than that i thought the skydiving one was the best, that was hilarious. The pepsi one was good, but is it just me or have the commercials gone downhill, they replayed the diet pepsi truck several times... the best in recent memory was the terry tate office linebacker a few years back, as zach will attest with me...
