Has anyone here played Pool Paradise? I've had the game for awhile. I started playing it again last night. It's pretty fun.
I also have:
Virtual Pool for the PC
Virtual Pool 2 for the PC
Real Pool for the PC
World Championship Pool 2004 for the xbox
I have played Virtual Pool 3. I just ordered a legal copy of it the other day for $10. The other Virtual Pool games I have will not install on Windows XP.

Nope...you're not the only one. What do you think of WCP2K4? I bought it when it first came out...over a year ago. I think it is lacking in some areas. The cues and tips suck and the players don't know what they're doing...j/k...lol. They have a lot of work to do before they release the next version, if they make another WCP version.
I am looking forward to getting my new copy of VP3. I had a 'cracked' version at one time, but it had video issues that could not be fixed with the patch. I could not use the patch on the 'cracked' version. VP3 is supposed to work on XP. If it doesn't I am going to be upset. I know VP and VP2 do not work on XP. They won't install. The drive sees nothing on the disks. I really liked VP3. I can't wait to play it again. I've been playing Pool Paradise the last couple of days. It's a fun game too.

It is a decent game but, you are right, it doesn't compare too well to other pool games. It definitely lacks players. However, everything seems to be consistent with how the game is played...English, draw, follow, etc. It's good for learning how the game(s) are played. It's also good for learning the physics involved in pool...for the most part. I like to play these games because they help improve my real game. I think so anyway. For instance, when you want to know how the cue ball is going to react with certain English, draw, follow, etc...then you can just go to the game and try things and see what happens. It's not perfect, but it gives you an idea. I enjoy playing all the different games and using them as learning tools in a way.
