Schon shaft on your schon, or predator?

Which do you prefer? I have heard that the schon hits nicer, but the 314 has less deflection. Just wondering what your experiences have been. I have had a ton of games on a 314, and am going to be getting a schon soon, and kind of am wondering if I should go with a predator shaft or schon.

100% personal preference. There are those who do in fact like the Schon better than the Predator, dags I believe is one of them. But of course there are plenty of people who like their 314's...

since you currently a predator owner and use a predator shaft i would stick with the predator shaft. then again i would stick with the predator.

I have always felt like my Schon weight was distributed more evenly with the Schon shaft than the Predator shaft but I always use the Predator shaft. The Predator makes my stick feel lighter. Maybe it's just me.

Recently I bought a friend's Schon and the stock shafts were very short tapered. Personally I like long tapered (over 10-12") so a Predator shaft is more to my liking, I am sure there are lots of other shafts that have a nice taper though.

Any shorter tapered shaft "should" hit stiffer or more solid than a longer tapered shaft due to the conical shape and more wood content though.

i was bound and determined to get a 314 on my stl7 when i ordered it but when i found out all of them were recalled i just got it with the schon, and i was not dissapointed....it is stiff but not like all the talk says,it's almost identical to ray schuler-schuler pro shaft. i love my schon shaft and dont plan on getting a predetor.....

I recently bought a Schon STL4 here with both the Schon Shaft and Pred 314^2 Shaft. The Pred Shaft weighs approx 2/10 of an ounce less than the Schon Shaft.

I greatly prefer the Shone Shaft on this Schon butt.

However on all my other brand cues I prefer the Pred 314^2 or Z.

Maybe it is like Van1 said it may have something to do with the weight distribution.
