I just measured my current McDermott shaft and butt (at the end where the shaft joins). I used a very good digital micrometer. I got a shaft end measurement of 0.8465 inches and a butt end measurement of 0.8490 inches. Since I read that Predator shafts average 0.859 inches am I out of luck finding a match? Are they made that small? I wouldn't want a shaft that is too wide at the joint.
Sid, Rick, or Debbie, could you look at your 3/8 x 10 Predator shafts and let me know if you have any close to 0.8465 diameter? Maybe some leeway is allowed, you guys would know better then me. Thanks for your help.
