old money that i wish i had

Perhaps I am speaking like the old man that I am but there is no old money in my bank accounts, only money that has come from the sweat of my brow. And, truth be known, not a whole lot of that. And you know what? I will lay you a dime to a dollar that my eight year old pickup truck gets me to the pool hall just like a new Porsch does.

I have reached a point in my life where I enjoy a comfortable, albeit not luxurious, lifestyle. Yes, if I was willing perhaps I could afford a Porsche and maybe house with three bathrooms. But what would be the point? It's just Mrs. Dags and myself. I don't see any problem with a few extra steps to take a piss. Especially when those few extra steps may mean that a family less fortunate than mine may not go hungry. I am very much at ease living a somewhat frugal lifestyle.

spending $150 on a drink is not for everyone, but those who can afford it could afford to give some to charity, the problem is that they don't
