Hi..Someone is claiming to have a MCDERMOTT POOL CUE - METAL-X - PEWTER that's 12 OZ...Is this even possible?? It seems like it is the MG-26...

Their descriptions say that it's

Maybe a typo?? That would be like shooting with a toothpick.. I kina doubt they have a 12oz cue, but anything is possible. It would have to almost be hollow..

it probably is a mistake..but the owner is now asking me how he can tell the weight of the cue? What do I tell him?

I know it sometimes says it on the cue stick..but I don't think McDermott has that.

Maybe it's a 17oz ? perhaps the 7 could have been mistaken for 2.

But I highly doubt that a 12oz would be possible without breaking the cue on the very first rack break :)

Maybe they switched the numbers and it was supposed to be 21 oz. I'd email and ask if you want to buy it.

A friend strongly recommeded McDermott, I pruhcased the gentry 20oz, The cue is absolutely awesome, but one thing i noticed was the shaft has a very slight up and down in the taper part of the shaft when i roll it across the pool table, but when you stand directly over the shaft and roll it, it looks perfectly straight, is this a warped shaft an uneven taper or normal. 8) My next purhcase i definitely see a McDermott Knight on the Horizon.
