I have a McDermott Alpha C152 on the way, it will be my break cue. 13.5mm shaft - 18oz

I will be installing a phenolic tip, which I already have, when I receive it. I should have it either by the end of this week or early next week. I will post up my review once I get to a table with it! 8)

Good for you man! We should be expecting DEATHTRON's review soon. I just received word from him he got his Jacoby in, unpacked it, and is currently off to the pool hall!!!

Thanks, I really was looking for something decent to break with so I didn't have to use a house cue (crappy condition) or my Fury to break with. I think this McDermott will work very well. I await Zach's review on the Jacoby, it sounds really nice.

After getting a new shaft for my old Viking after busting it, I returned it to breaking service... Funny thing last night when I broke a nine ball rack, I ran out a hella good rack.. I did it with that old Viking.. Then continued to drop two nine on the breaks.. I shot realy well with it, I think I am not so worried about messing it up or dinging it, as opposed to when using the Nitti..

Yep, you are probably aware of the Nitti on an unconscious level and therefore it is inhibiting your game to some degree. When you had that ol' Viking in your hand you probably never thought about it and just played your game.

Yeah, I've always known that would be the case, but I keep playing with the Nitti in hopes it will pass...

Just play your game, never mind how much the cue cost you, nothing will happen to it while you shoot (as long as you don't smack the table or the balls with it), most dings and chips happen to the cue when you're not shooting and someone bump into it and/or drop it.
once it'll accumulate a few dings and such just head out to nitti shop and have it refinish for $100, keep you're cue safe when you'r off the table and you won't get to this ;)
