Another conservative hypocrite exposed: Bill O'Reilly...this is better than Rush Limbaugh being exposed as a drug addict.
OCTOBER 13--Hours after Bill O'Reilly accused her of a multimillion dollar shakedown attempt, a female Fox News producer fired back at the TV star today, filing a lawsuit claiming that he subjected her to repeated instances of sexual harassment and spoke often, and explicitly, to her about phone sex, vibrators, threesomes, masturbation, the loss of his virginity, and sexual fantasies. Below you'll find a copy of Andrea Mackris's complaint, an incredible page-turner that quotes O'Reilly, 55, on all sorts of lewd matters. Based on the extensive quotations cited in the complaint, it appears a safe bet that Mackris, 33, recorded some of O'Reilly's more steamy soliloquies. For example, we direct you to his Caribbean shower fantasies. While we suggest reading the entire document, TSG will point you to interesting sections on a Thailand sex show, Al Franken, and the climax of one August 2004 phone conversation. (22 pages)

Yes, I'm sure those tapes were fabricated. Also, can't wait until a couple of other women come forward...kinda like Bob Livingston, remember him? Another moralizing hypecrite.
FYI, Liberals believe in innocent until proven guilty, Miranda rights etc., jerks like O'Reilly denigrate them.

Liberals believe in what ever gets them the most gain, but other than that. please don't lay O'Reilly on Fox. He was rich and "famous" before the Fox news channel ever existed. As far as it goes I am gonna hold judgment until I hear a tape, just because I don't believe that a "transcript" shouldn't be admissable in court. I think Bill is an amazing A**hole, even though I agree with him on a lot of things. I just think that he lacks the interpersonal skills that everyone really ought to have.
This is more than hilarious, this clown or pervert is out promoting his book for children and how they and their parents should behave in a moral manner.

Wow, this is the funniest shit I have seen in a while. Such the typical story. Man accuses woman of scandal, so woman accuses man of sexual harassment. I have seen this first hand and what it can do to a person. My father, a devout husband, and father of 5...a military man, a wonderful person, and an outstanding display of morale. A woman who is under my father's command in the army was causing trouble for some of his other soldiers. He pulled her aside in his office one day to tell her about her mistakes. He broke it all down for her and told her she would be dishonorably discharged should she not correct what was wrong. That same week she filed sexual harassment charges against my father and named occaisions, remarks, told stories, etc...making it sound like it was all true and valid. Investigations went on for months, before the army ruled in favor of my father. He was on the verge of losing his job after 18 years in the Army, and a perfect record along the way. Unfortunately sexual harassment is an easy tool to use against a man, and usually the woman is believed...sad but true...so, I wouldn't believe everything you hear!

Personally I wish sexual harresment would happen more often. In particular, to me.. I think all women should make sexual advances towards men, especially myself, in the workplace or anywhere for that matter!!!
Note: The above material was meant as a joke and not to be taken seriously... Thank you, please drive through to the first window...

Of course... False sexual allegations happen all the time. Whether or not hers are valid or not is something time may tell. Either way, it is not something that only one kind of person does. Black, White, Liberal, Conservative, Spanish, Blonde, Tall, Short, Skinny.. Whatever... So to preface a topic with "Conservative Hypocrite" has little meaning.

I do agree.
I'm not saying it can't be true, but it just seems so odd that the allegations were filed hours after he accused her of scandalous acts! Doe sit make him a bad person if they are true??? I'm not sure if that's the case...maybe it just maes him horny, like every other male on earth. I get "sexually harassed" every day by customers at the pool hall, contractors on our jobsite, and walking at the mall...I stand my grounds when it gets out of hand but it's something that is somewhat "nature" if you will.

There are many absurd cases of sexual "harassment."
Unfortunately what distinguishes this one is
a. The woman has recordings of the conversations; and
b. O'Reilly is constantly lecturing on TV about moral behavior and wrote a book for children on how to behave morally.
As someone who has represented parties on both sides in these type of cases, I am very uncomfortable about a few aspects of this one. First, there appears to have been some sort of consensual relationship between the two. By this, I don't mean they had sex, but that this type of talk was acceptable. Second, she allegedly has recordings. This violates the law in a lot of states. It certainly seems underhanded. Third, and most importantly, she never complained to Fox News management, or anyone else. She left Fox for CNN, then came back, saying how much she loved the place. She told people she was so happy with her job at Fox. Then suddenly, everything is horrible there?

It is my understanding that it is not illegal to record a conversation as long as one of the parties being recorded knows about it. Meaning, I can record my phone conversations with other people, but I can not record a phone conversation between two other people without either of them knowing about it.

That depends on the state. In some states, that is indeed the case. In others, you need the consent of BOTH parties to record a conversation. That's why when you contact a customer service number they have the message that your call may be recorded. Continuing with the call implies consent.

What if I am in FL, where it is single party aware, recording a conversation in xyz state that says both parties need be notified?
What law then dictates interstate communications?
It's the more restrictive law. If you are talking with me in Pennsylvania, PA law applies. Now, I may have difficulty getting you into the jurisdiction for punishment, but you could receive a fine.

FEDERAL LAW
Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 119 USC, Wire and Electronic
Communications Interceptions found at the following web sites
The federal Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, 18 U.S.C. Sec. 2510 et seq., prohibits the willful interception of telephone communication by means of any electronic, mechanical, or other device without an applicable exemption. There are two principal exceptions:
Federal Exceptions
Consent: In the absence of more restrictive state law, it is permissible to intercept and record a telephone conversation if one or both of the parties to the call consents. Consent means authorization by only one participant in the call; single-party consent is provided for by specific statutory exemption under federal law. 18 U.S.C. Sec. 2511(2)(d).
"Business telephone" exception
The "business telephone" exception, which generally allows monitoring of
calls and taping over an extension phone which is both provided to a subscriber in the ordinary course of a telephone company's business and is being used by that subscriber in the ordinary course of its business. This provision generally permits businesses to monitor the conversations of their employees, including personal conversations. In some states Recording of Business Conversations is permitted Only when a notice of such Practice is Conspicuously displayed and Pay Phone for private Communications Provided.
In closing CJK is right, the more restrictive state law applies. Seems there are few states though that require two way notification, however PA is one of them.. :)

...and so is Florida! So, in essence if we ever spoke and you for some reason wanted to hear my voice over and over, you would have to admit your intentions...did I understand the rules correctly??
Whew! Glad I was right. I'd hate to think I got that law degree for nothing!

By liberalized do you mean he didn’t say what he said?
In another matter, to quote O’Riley from November 30th in regards to Senator Murtha’s call for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq:
These pin-heads running around going, “Get out of Iraq now” don’t know what they are talking about. These are the same people before Hitler invaded in WWII that were saying, “He’s not such a bad guy.” They don’t get it.
Here is the quote from his Monday radio show:
Now, it's a small little thing, but I picked up on it, because here is the essential problem in Iraq. There are so many nuts in the country -- so many crazies -- that we can't control them. And I don't -- we're never gonna be able to control them. So the only solution to this is to hand over everything to the Iraqis as fast as humanly possible. Because we just can't control these crazy people. This is all over the place. And that was the big mistake about America: They didn't -- it was the crazy-people underestimation. We did not know how to deal with them -- still don't. But they're just all over the place.
Hope I didn’t liberalize it too much. :P
