View Full Version : Differencse between Championship 3078 and 3030

If I were to buy felt myself, I'd get the 3030 or Simonis 860, but this is not technically my table and I'm not spending MY money so there's a budget to consider. I told the guys that new felt would cost around $100 and then I can install it myself. :D What are the differences in the 3078 and 3030 cloth..... besides one costs less?

I suppose the 3030 lasts longer because it's higher quality, but the only thing I can probably notice is the speed of it.... that's basically the only thing that can change i.m.o...?

I guess higher quality...maybe there are more weave's in the nice of the two?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.........yeah I guess.....

Also, I have to consider which one is more durable as well. I hate to say this but in the next year or so some idiot may likely spill beer on it (it has a huge beer stain on it right now which I tried to get out with Oxyclean...well now it has a white swirly pattern on it, but it looks better!).

If it was my table I'd keep it covered and say no food/drinks in the room, no jump shots, etc., but it's not mine so I can't claim ownership over it like that.

You gotta have jump shots! I dont let anyone eat on my table or drink by it, but you know in a month its going to get junked up when i go to college so i try not to care as much.

I am the youngest on the forum that comes around regularly i believe. It has it's perks, for example: I am still in my sexual prime for 3 more years, most all the other males arent. (I'm always optimistic in case you cant tell)
