If my memory serves me corectly, Players and Lucasi (and Fury) are manufactured by the same company in China as contract work for different importers so let price be your guide.

One of my teammates had a Players cue at the same time I had a Lucasi. The Lucasi had a much better finish and feel, but that may be because his had a MSRP of $80, while mine was $240.

My opinion reflects CJK's experience. I have the Players Tournament Series and a Lucasi (older 2001 model) and the inlays and finish on the Lucasi are better but it was significantly more expensive.

Dont players have like stick on graphics instead of actual ring work and inlays?

Yeah, players have decals...

D,
Most do, not all. This particular Tournament Series model, have the Uni-Loc joint and real (3 high-3 low) inlay points, unfornunately the points are not perfectly even, but again it was about 40% the cost of the Lucasi.

the points are not always even on $2000 cues...

skor,
I haven't seen a real $2000 cue (only online), but that makes the Players an even better value. My $ .02.

Guest,
I think either one of those cues would make a decent cue. The Lucasi offers more intricate inlay designs and the Uni-Loc joint, and the Players normally have stick on designs, or very simple inlay designs.
De nada y Buena suerte.
