I'm thinking of getting a Viking VM35 can anyone give me feedback on this cue (feel, hit, deflection, general quality) or should I go with the Lucasi LE 11 without the Uniloc I'm looking for a second cue with a softer hit than my Lucasi with the uniloc
What is the best joint for a softer it?

All the vikings play the same, so if you hit one youve hit most of them, the only difference would be the joint's on them.

Wood to wood gives the softest hit.. My last Viking had a wood to wood joint, and it was decent..

I owned a Vm-38, which is the same cue with different rings and it was one of the nicest hitting cues that I have ever owned. I think that you can't go wrong with a Viking, espessially when comparing it to a lucasi. The VM-35 is probably gonna be my next cue, and I already own cues that cost much less, I just like that one a lot.
