I was just wondering cause we have 6 or 7 house cues at my house that are all warped in some way. Is their a cue out there that doesn't warp? maybe a stupid question
Warpped cues seem be be a "taboo" topic as I can't get any respones to my inquires on this board or any of the others as correcting warpage...I guess they just want you to buy a new cue!!! haha But there is ONE cue out there that will not warp...the discontined McDermott Balicini cues...they are all graphite.....not "covered" wood core....I have one and its dead straight and stays that way. The finish on the cue requires a glove for comfortable play....look for them on Ebay. You can leave then in your car on a summers day and they stay straight....very nice. Take care! Billy
The trick is to buy a high quality cue. The shafts on HQ cues are aged for several years to remove all moisture. Buy a HQ cue and take care of it...keep it in a hard case and don't leave it in the car...or any hot humid place.
My Schon is about 15 years old and it is still perfectly straight.
Don't buy graphite....they suck. You just can't get the proper feel out of them. None of the pro players use graphite...unless it's just a break cue.
That's my 2 cents,
Kurt
