A friend of mine has a new break cue and it has some kind of tip that I never heard of called a "Finali"(spelling may be off). Its kind of like a plastic tip used for breaking. Does anyone know the correct spelling and where I can get any on the net. I checked Seyberts and they dont have it :-(

Could it be a name brand for a phenolic tip?

I bet it was phenolic also....I'm having second thoughts on the one I am using.....I think I'd be better off with just a hard tip....mike

I was thing about ordering one of the new Talisman break tips to try or perhaps the Talisman extra hard I have at home. I do like the phenolic tip though. Fortunatly I have two cues that I use for breaking and both have phenolic tips so I can do some experimenting without risk.

Dags, I haven't had mine that long, but like it more now than when I first used it...Guess I'm still in the learning stage...I'm going to give it a few more months before I think about retipping. ....If I make a change, it will be back to Talisman Hard.......Practicing a break is not my cup of tea....and when you get beat as much as I have lately....you don't do that much breaking! 8O mike

Dags,
You might also want to consider the Moori Power Tip, their new breaking tip. I haven't tried it, but have some and am waiting to re-tip cues with them. Business is down now that summer is here..... Just in case that came over wrong, I am not looking for business, just suggesting a new tip.
